For a longer leisure stay, most visitors will prefer the city centre, Debar Maalo or the bazaar. If transport is your priority, though, the station district makes sense. Confirm your departure details directly before relying on rail connections, as services can be less straightforward than bus travel.

Quieter alternatives: Karpoš and the Vodno foothills

Karpoš, west of the centre, suits longer stays and travellers who prefer a calm residential setting. Its eastern parts are closer to City Park and Debar Maalo, making them more convenient than locations farther west. It is a reasonable choice if you are comfortable using taxis or local buses.
