Zadar Sunset Eco Tuk Tuk Tour

Tour programme

Board your electric tuk tuk and set off to explore Zadar and its surroundings. Along the way, we’ll stop at the Zadar Sphinx, the largest of its kind in this part of Europe, a rare and unique monument over 100 years old. Capture stunning photos at scenic viewpoints, and learn all about the Greeting to the Sun, which communicates with light, and the Sea Organs, which communicate with sound - two distinct and captivating landmarks. Stroll through the cobblestone streets of Zadar, a town rich in history, and discover its most important sites as you listen to stories that will transport you back through the centuries. The tour concludes with a tuk tuk ride back to the pickup location.

  1. Arbanasi and Kolovare

A panoramic ride through the old part of Zadar called Arbanasi, toward one of Zadar's most popular beaches—Kolovare.

  2. Beach Bar and Lighthouse

A panoramic ride through Borik, a residential area of the city, with a short stop at Beach Bar Bamboo, located just in front of the lighthouse, for a quick refreshment and the most beautiful sunset in the world.

  3. The Zadar Sphinx

A short ride to the Zadar Sphinx. Built over 100 years ago, it is the largest sphinx in Europe outside of Egypt. Unlike typical sphinxes, it holds unique features such as carved fish instead of paws and was said to have had magical powers to grant wishes related to love.

  4. The Greeting to the Sun and the Sea Organs

A panoramic ride along the Old Town peninsula to the Greeting to the Sun and the Sea Organs, two iconic landmarks that combine art, nature, and technology.

  5. The Roman Forum

A short ride to the Roman Forum in Zadar, offering a view of some of the most famous parts of the city's history. The Roman Forum, dating back to the 1st century BC, was once the center of public life in ancient Zadar and remains one of the best-preserved historical sites in the region.

  6. The Church of St. Donatus

One of the most unique symbols of Zadar, the Church of St. Donatus, dates back to the 9th century. This remarkable Byzantine-style church is known for its circular shape and acoustics, often used for concerts due to its excellent sound quality. It stands on the site of an ancient Roman forum and is one of the best-preserved examples of pre-Romanesque architecture in Croatia.

  7. Kalelarga

Kalelarga, Zadar's main street, is a vibrant and historic promenade lined with charming shops, cafes, and ancient architecture, offering a glimpse into the city's rich cultural heritage.

  8. Panoramic tour

We end the tour with a panoramic ride to the drop-off location.
