Tour starts by pickup from the port, just outside the ship terminal. After a scenic drive up the hill towards Kastel, you will arrive at the medieval Fortress of Klis. A standing witness from 16th century, with an amazing aerial view of Split. Have a guided tour of the Fort & free time for Panoramic photos. Then hop back on our modern A/C coach for a transfer to Split Old Town. Start the walking tour Promenade “RIVA”, then continue towards the famous Diocletian’s palace & its basement, followed through to Peristil. A stop at the oldest cathedral in the world “St. Domnius, the baptistery – the temple of Jupiter, Egyptian sphinx, Vestibule, then via Cardo Street, explore the Golden Gate and the bishop Grgur of Nin. From there your guide will give you some free time to grab a bite or a drink sitting at the many local cafes by the waterfront. Then you can easily make a short walk by the ferry port of Split connecting main land with the Dalmatian islands around the Adriatic Sea. Before you end up back at the Cruise terminal where the tour concludes.
