Tour programme
If you’ve always wanted to climb an impressively tall mountain, but couldn’t due to difficulty, this one is for you.
Viševnik is a mountain that is both over 2000 meters (6500 feet) tall and easily accessible with regular hiking gear. But that doesn’t mean that the views aren’t up to par: they are one of the best around, as you get to see other, taller mountains from a prime perspective. Triglav (literally meaning three-headed), Slovenia’s tallest mountain, can easily be seen from the top, as can be other proud peaks.
Due to the easy incline of its south side, this hike is the quickest and easiest way to get to the spectacular views the Slovenian alpine world has to offer.
The tour is easy and suitable for beginners, families, and children.

What should I wear ?
It is important that your clothes are comfortable. It is recommended that you also have some warmer and windproof clothing with you as temperature can drop or in case of cold wind. You can always leave excess clothes in the van after consulting with our guide.
How many people will be in a group?
We believe that your experience will be better in smaller groups. Therefore, there will be a maximum of 8 guests per guide.
Who will be our guide?
On our tours you will have professional local guides. Our guides will make sure that you will have expert guiding combined with great fun and memorable experience.
What should I bring with me?
Bring enough water, some snacks and sunscreen or other sun protection. You can also bring trekking poles if you are used to them.
What in case of bad weather?
Even though Slovenia is small, it has quite diverse climate, so it is not unusual that there is nice weather somewhere else. In that case, you will be kindly suggested a different tour where the weather will be nice. If offered alternative tour doesn’t suit you or if the weather is not suitable for hiking, you will receive a full refund if you have already prepaid our tour.
Am I fit enough?
The tour is flexible and it can be adjusted to your preferences, skills and fitness. Nevertheless, you should be comfortable having a 4-hour hike on a moderate terrain.
Is the tour kid friendly?
Children are also welcomed on the tour. Children should be able to hike for a few hours with breaks. If you are planning to go on a tour with young kids, please let us know in advance and we can adjust the tour if necessary.
